Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect (and Do Not Collect)
Millora was architected with a strict privacy-first philosophy. We believe intimate infant care records and postpartum maternal well-being logs should never leave the parent’s control.
A. Local Care & Health Data (Stored Exclusively on Your Device)
When you use Millora, you may log:
- Infant Care Routines: Feeding logs (nursing duration, breast alternation, bottle amounts, formula preparation), diaper changes (wet, dirty, stool color), sleep sessions, and soothing checks.
- Infant Profile Information: Baby’s first name or nickname, date of birth, gestational age at birth, and sex (used solely for offline WHO growth percentiles).
- Growth & Health Records: Weight, height, head circumference measurements, pediatrician appointment notes, and vaccine records.
- Maternal Sanctuary Data: Daily well-being pulse check-ins, hydration tallies, nourishment habits, rest stretch estimates, and optional maternal medication schedules.
Where it is saved: All of the above records are stored locally in your iPhone’s private SwiftData database sandbox. They are encrypted using Apple’s hardware-backed NSFileProtectionComplete class when your device is locked. We do not operate a centralized database or have access to view, read, or analyze your family’s care data.
B. Analytics & Tracking Technologies
We do NOT include any third-party behavioral analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking cookies in the Millora iOS app or on this marketing website (millora.us). We do not use Facebook SDK, Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, or similar ad attribution trackers.
C. Cloudflare Web Delivery
When you visit this marketing and support website (millora.us), our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard network routing logs (such as IP address and user-agent) temporarily to defend against denial-of-service attacks and cache static assets at edge locations. These logs are not combined with any app data or personal identities.
2. How Your Data Is Used
Because all data processing occurs locally on your iPhone:
- Routines and timers calculate elapsed hours since last feed or sleep.
- Wake window algorithms compute recommended awake limits based on your baby’s logged age.
- Pediatrician summary reports are rendered on-device using iOS PDFKit directly into your private file system.
- Maternal well-being prompts and resources are triggered entirely by local state machines without transmitting entries to any remote server.
3. Third-Party Services & Apple Subscriptions
If you choose to subscribe to Millora Pro, your transaction is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit 2 and your personal Apple ID account. We never see, receive, or store your credit card number, billing address, or payment credentials. Apple provides our app with an encrypted receipt token solely to verify your subscription entitlement.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
You have complete control over your records at all times:
- Individual Event Deletion: Swipe to delete any feed, diaper, or sleep log within the app.
- Profile Reset: Delete baby profiles or maternal check-ins directly in the Settings tab.
- Complete App Deletion: Removing the Millora app from your iPhone deletes the local SwiftData database sandbox entirely from your device.
5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
Millora is designed for parents and primary caregivers. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 13. All data entered regarding an infant is provided by the parent or legal guardian and remains restricted to the local device.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app enhancements or statutory requirements. Any revisions will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date”.
